I have been using a HP Universal PCL5 for Windows 7-32 bit successfully for years with all these, and other, printers. I know that the universal driver does not support any special features of each printer BUT it does select paper source properly for all. The exact model is immaterial, but to be totally clear: HP Laserjet M402n, HP Laserjet M604, HP Laserjet P4014 and The Universal part means it will work with a variety of HP and non-HP printers that support PCL5. But she does not want to use notepad as this is a text file not a note, then also does not want to use M$ Word as the text file contain many there, done that - that link only offers a PCL6 driver for I wasn't clear - I want an HP UniversalÄriver. ![]() ![]() This is like I had a "super user" who wanted to edit a file.txt. I think he does not want a print driver for HP printers.he wants a printer driver for Windows 10 ?
